We need to understand the society we are part of and social studies helps you think about issues that are affecting or will affect you in the years to come. The skills and knowledge that you will pick up in studying SS are invaluable. You may not realise how important an understanding of Medisave and tax reliefs are till such issues impact you in a few years time.....
So SS reflects life and the lives we lead...remember knowledge is power.
